Do not want

I go back to school tomorrow. Am extremely upset by this.

Here are ze classes:
  • Orgo 2: Again. No, I didn't fail it, I dropped it. Taking it with the professor I got an A in orgo 1 with.
  • Physics 2: It's all about electricity and magnetism. I have no idea why I would ever possibly need this as a biologist.
  • Ecology: Something I'm actually looking forward to.
  • Technical writing: My fourth resort for an English class. (1st was Environmental Writing, then Science Writing, then Health Profession Writing)

Oh well.

We got a new roommate. I e-mailed her like 3 weeks ago and she never answered me, so that should be...fun. Rebecca's moving into her sorority near the end of February, so I doubt we'll get a new roommate after she leaves because it'll be too late.

Umm, tried to hang out with Jason twice now since I haven't seen him in a year because he's been in Australia, but he's harder to get a hold of than the president...

Christmas break was good. Too short though. Hopefully this semester will go by as quickly as the last one. But passing orgo this time.

My English class is from 5:00-6:15pm... That kind of sucks. Especially since I'd be done by 2:00 if I didn't have it.

I'll shall write more after I have experienced the suckage of the classes firsthand.

Sleeeeep

I should be sleeping, but I'm not.

Anyway, update:
  • Sophie went back to England.
  • Had orgo and nutrition tests. Did bad on first, good on second.
  • Have physics test Friday. Am nervous.
  • Went to RennFest during Oktoberfest weekend. Was in traffic for 2 hours.
  • Watched Alice in Wonderland.
  • Ordered Interstella 5555, Yoshi's Story, and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
  • Saw advanced screening of Choke (one of Chuck Palahniuk's books made into a movie) and the director did a Q&A.
  • Went to luau on day it was pouring, so it wasn't very luau-y. Beer pong was played instead. Boba Fett cut-out was watching.
  • Put up posters in my room: Salvador Dali (the one that has swans that look like elephants in their reflection), Choke, and A Clockwork Orange.
So I'm going home for the weekend. Just because.

Dunno what I'm doing for Halloween yet.

Rob and I are gonna go see the Decemberists when they come around.
Fin.

Too cool for school

Sooo, school has started and I've been to all of my classes now apart from labs. Here's my impression of them:
Orgo 2: Prof seems amazing and very willing to help, but class will be horrible. Spiro's in this class.
Human growth and development: Seems extremely boring, but really easy.
Physics: Prof seems nice and funny, class may be hard though (he says he's assigning 5 questions a week and each takes like an hour to do). Gabby and Tricia are in this class.
Nutrition: Prof seems nice. Everyone says class is hard, but that's because they're non-science majors. I've been taking science courses for over two years at college, so hopefully I won't have a problem.

Now for the roommates:
Natalie: Know her from high school. She's funny and considerate (much better than stupid last roommate).
Sophie: The English girl. She's really nice and she loves animals. Trip to the National Zoo in order!
Rebecca: She's in a sorority and she's really nice as well.

Been to Rob's new apartment. Is extremely fancy. Met two of his roommates.

Ordered Harvest Moon for DS, which has just shipped according to Amazon. Bought some books for school. Ordered new backpack, which hopefully will come soon as my current one hurts. Still need to pick up book that I don't have yet and a ChemLock (I left my old one at home) if I don't go back home this weekend.

Miss my parents and pets. And my own bed. But am having fun so far. I know this will change when classes REALLY start going.

Summertime and the living's easy

So summer's almost over. Bummer. I really don't want to go back. Well, I kinda do, but that's just because my roommates are cool. Natalie's (a friend from high school) going to be my roommate and Sophie (an English foreign exchange student) is living in the other room. Rob (my boyfriend) will be living 2 miles away (which is a lot when you don't have a car) when I'm used to him living in the building next door or even the same building. My classes this semester pretty much suck: orgo 2, orgo 2 lab, physics, physics lab, nutrition, health ed. Nutrition and health ed will be okay, but orgo sucks. I'm so worried about not passing it (I didn't pass orgo 1 the first time I took it) and then I'll be behind in credits and might have to take a class during the break.

So anyway, I'll sum up my summer just to remind myself of the good times:
  • Coming home and seeing my family every day :)
  • Sleeping in
  • The Chronicles of Narnia (I read it for the first time)
  • The Dark Knight (very good)
  • Wall-E (extremely cute)
  • Pineapple Express (pretty funny)
  • X-Files movie (pretty good)
  • Ocean CIty with friend (fun, even if said friend played WoW half the time)
  • Weekends with Rob
  • Chipotle
  • Zoo
  • Beach with my aunt
  • Creatures 1, 2, and 3 (my favorite games ever, besides Harvest Moon 64)
  • Okami (my new favorite game for the Wii)
  • Ordering the next two Harvest Moon games (I also plan to order Spore and My Japanese Coach)
  • Olympics (mostly women's gymnastics and swimming)
  • Twin Peaks (first time seeing it)
  • Watching a lot, a lot videos on YouTube
  • And best of all...relaxing and no school work

My parents are taking off of work next Wednesday and Thursday so we can hang out and do stuff before I go back to school. This stuff includes going to a Baysox game, eating mussels, and some other stuff. Rob and I are gonna go mini-golfing on Saturday, which we haven't done together this summer yet. McGuire also messaged me about getting together and maybe going to RennFest, which would be fun because I haven't seen her in sooo long. Then I move into my new apartment on campus on Friday. Roomies and I might go to the zoo or something. Rob and I might go to his godmother's so I can go swimming in their pool which I haven't gotten a chance to do this summer. And then classes start Sept. 2.

I'll write more when this future stuff actually happens.

(no subject)

So I made this LJ account about 3 years ago, made one entry and never wrote in it again. I'll try to change that this time around. Anyway, I don't really have anything interesting to write about now.
